IPTV Smarters Pro EPG Troubleshooting

Diagnose missing schedules, “No Information” messages, invalid EPG sources and guide synchronization problems.

Follow these checks in order

Menu names can vary by application version and device.

1

Check account status

Confirm that the subscription is active and that live streams still load.

2

Check date and time

Use automatic date, time and time-zone settings on the device.

3

Refresh the guide

Open player settings and use Refresh EPG, Update EPG or Refresh Content.

4

Wait for synchronization

Leave the application open while guide information downloads.

5

Clear application cache

Clear cache through device settings, then reopen the application.

6

Confirm the EPG source

Ask the provider whether the account includes valid XMLTV or EPG data.

Use Clear Cache first. Clear Data normally removes saved application settings and login information.

EPG questions

What does EPG mean?

EPG means Electronic Program Guide. It displays program names, times and schedule information when valid guide data is supplied.

Why do channels work while the guide is empty?

Stream access and guide information are separate. The provider may supply streams without complete or currently available EPG data.

Does an M3U playlist always include EPG?

No. An M3U setup may require a separate XMLTV or EPG URL supplied by the authorized provider.

What information should I send to support?

Send the device, application version, login method and the exact error message. Never send passwords or playlist URLs publicly.
